Caleb Pollard of Scratchtown Brewing in Ord, Nebraska and Susan Larson Rodenburg, founder of Tour de Nebraska get to try out Scratchtown’s Barrel Aged Sinister Grin Golden Strong Ale from their Rare Beer series: Keys to the Asylum. Susan discusses with Dan about how beer can be a great way to cap off a long day cycling as well as what’s on tap for the 2017 Tour. We also learn about what’s happening around Ord and Scratchtown.

A lot of fruity flavors from the Belgian yeast with a dry finish with a lot of white wine notes from the Chardonnay barrel and Nelson Sauvin hops.

Tour de Nebraska allows cyclists to see the state and experience the beauty and friendliness of rural Nebraska. People from 25-30 states participate in the annual tour that combines cycling, great music, craft beer and traveling across Nebraska. To learn about the Tour go to http://www.tourdenebraska.com/ and check them out on facebook.
