Writer, teacher, and beer ambassador Erin Miles of Perfect Pour Magazine and Lincoln City Councilwoman Leirion Gaylor Baird enjoy Zipline’s new year round IPA, Alpha Modern on this episode of Pints and Politics. It’s a session IPA that has a lot of hops on the nose, but doesn’t have as much of the bitterness on the back of the tongue. It has a lower alcohol content (4.9%) and is easy to drink.

We talk the future of water in Lincoln and how conservation as well as finding a new source of water is key to the next 40 years in Lincoln. And how brewers do whatever they can to conserve and reuse water in their everyday business practices. Erin talks about her travels to Alaska and especially her visit to Denali Brewing in Talkeetna, Alaska. Lastly, we look at the forward-looking Environmental Action Plan being created in Lincoln.
