Darin Erstad is a former player and head coach of the University of Nebraska baseball team. He was the first overall pick by the Los Angeles Angels in the 1995 Major League Baseball draft. Two-time MLB All-Star and a three-time Gold Glove Award winner. Darin was also the starting punter on the Cornhuskers football team and was part of their 1994 National Championship Caught the final out of Game 7 of the 2002 World Series.

Old Fashioned recipe: 2 oz. Rye or Bourbon ½ oz proof Old Fashioned syrup ¼ orange 2 woodford reserve Bourbon cherries
Muddle ¼ orange and 1 bourbon cherry
Remove orange rind and cherry from shaker
Add ½ oz Proof Syrup and 2 oz Rye or Bourbon. Shake well.
Pour over ice. Garnish with one bourbon cherry and orange twist.
